Adobe Photoshop CS5 iPad/device Integration

Posted on April 11, 2011 by

According to the latest announcements at MacWorld, Adobe is now allowing 3rd party access to Photoshop via a software developer kit (SDK). So what? This means that (for example) tablets, phones, and other apps are now able to interact and extend Photoshop’s capabilities in unique new ways.

As seen below, the iPad has some fascinating new apps coming out soon. The first 3 iPad apps are to be known as Adobe Color Lava, Adobe Eazel, and Adobe Nav. You can get more in-depth reviews of each at the MacWorld article.

Thanks to MacRumors.com for the heads-up!

Cheap Tilt-Shift Effects

While it’s no doubt just another post-effect gimmick, you can’t argue that tilt-shift “miniaturization” effects are fun to play with to achieve extreme selective focus. Photoshop would give you way more control, yet TiltShiftMaker has a handy little tool to let you play with effects on any photo without requiring any expensive software or major fine tuning.
