So by now, you’ve presumably seen and been amazed by the incredibly fast new content-aware fills in Photoshop CS5 that can basically delete objects from a photo. However, you may not have seen a similar principle being applied real time to video footage. While it’s not perfect yet, the results and demos are amazing. This video demonstrates some crazy new software, “MovieReshape”, which uses a combination of motion tracking and shape recognition to map a scalable 3d model against the person in the video. From there, the possibilities are pretty wide open to make the person taller, shorter, or fuller in the muscles, breasts, etc.
